NYC Media Lab's Combine accelerator programis recruiting entrepreneurial teams fora fourth year!
The Combine program exists for early stage,university affiliatedstartups. Through the program, NYC Media Lab provides teams with the guidance, funding, opportunities, & leadership tools needed to commercialize & reach a product-market fit for their startup concept. All faculty & students from accredited NYC universities are eligible to apply to the program.
Of the 32 early stage teams that have completed the program since the program's inception, 22 formed companies.
Since joining the first cohort graduated two & a half years ago, the teams have raised an additional $3 million in venture capital, SBIR, angel investment, friends & family money, prizes & other grants. Three teams have joined TechStars, includingVidrovr, a team that makes video machine readable;Braiq, a team that building a system that connects biometric information from passengers with the artificial intelligence systems in self-driving cars; andGeopipe, which makes it possible to create automatic 3D models of cities.
