Sacks & Perkins created Luminary Media in 2018 to make an impact on the growing podcast market, & the platform's initial round of original content production includes podcasts with Lena Dunham, Guy Raz, Hannibal Buress & Russell Brand.
Sacks, Luminary Media's CEO, was formerly a principal at New Enterprise Associates. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in history & later worked as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Perkins, Luminary Media's head of talent, was previously a principal at True Search, where she took a leadership role in developing the executive search firm's diversity & inclusion initiative. She attended the University of Virginia & graduated with a BS in civil & environmental engineering.
