The AI transformation is underway, & the demands for AI strategies are increasing in the enterprise. IBM & H2O.ai have created a global strategic partnership to enable customers across all industries to harness the potential of AI in their businesses. This presentation covers an overview of H2O Driverless AI on IBM Power Systems, to show how data science teams can accelerate their use of AI to meet the growing business needs, essentially delivering an experienced "data scientist in a box".

Bio
Luis Armenta holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Mexico & a MSc in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from the University of Waterloo in Canada. He is also currently completing an Executive MBA at McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin.

Luis has over ~14 years of experience, having started his career as a Research Scientist at Intel Labs before being promoted to 2nd Line Engineering Manager, leading the high-speed interconnect hardware design of Intels server portfolio. Luis also has held roles as Product Manager of EM simulators at Ansys & as a Systems Engineer of 4K & 8K UHDTVs at Macom.

Luis joined IBM in 2014 as Senior Engineer/Scientist in the OpenPOWER organization where he led the creation of the new IBM Portal for OpenPOWER & the design of the 1st Power9 IBIS-AMI models for external customers. Currently he is the IBM PowerAI Global Product Manager (Offering Manager) for H2O Driverless AI on Power Systems & AI ISV Integration Partnerships.
