Entre is hosting a special event geared towards the growing community of entrepreneurs, artists, creators, & innovators. Join us as we build a community of startup enthusiasts in the NYC area. This event is taking place at the all-new Spaces co-working space at Chrysler Building, in the heart of NYC, Midtown Manhattan.
Our event brings people together to openly discuss & share ideas with like-minded individuals. We welcome entrepreneurs of all types, start-ups of all sizes, industries, & stages to join us in finding the inspiration, resources, & friends that will make them successful.

Thursday February 13, 2020 - Sameer Maskey, Founder & CEO of Fusemachines
Sameer Maskey is the founder & CEO of Fusemachines, a company makes Artificial Intelligence accessible to everyone through education, software, & services. Dr. Maskey has more than 18 years of experience in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, & data science. After completing his PhD in Computer Science, he joined IBM Watson Research Center where he invented various statistical algorithms to improve speech-to-speech translation & question answering systems. Sameer currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University where he teaches courses including Statistical Methods for Natural Language Processing & Programming for Entrepreneurs. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles & served as Session Chair, Program Committee member,and Review Committee member at ACL, HLT, ICASSP, NAACL & COLING. Sameer is an inventor of 15 United States patents & has authored over 20 publications. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University.
Thursday March 12, 2020 - Abraham Lichy, Founder of The Lichy Law Firm
Abe Lichy is a native New Yorker with a background as lawyer, entrepreneur & musician. After graduating from Cardozo Law School in 2010, Abe began a 6 year career in corporate litigation at Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman where, among other matters, he represented global brands in various IP & commercial matters. After deciding to leave BigLaw to pursue a more entrepreneurial path, Abe started a fashion brand with his wife where he was the CEO for 3 years. Realizing he missed being a lawyer & that startups had a need for knowledgeable & experienced attorneys in the field, he decided to start his own firm, The Lichy Law Firm, where he's an Owner. Lichy Law is an NYC-based law firm primarily focused on representing start-ups across multiple verticals, including tech, fashion, e-commerce, marketing, social media influencers & brand consultants. Over the past 2 years, Lichy Law has serviced over 1,000 clients & growing.
