EVENT DETAILS
Blockstack, an open source project on a mission to create the decentralized internet, is inviting leading thinkers to explore an important topic: the future impact of blockchain technology on the art industry. With creatives & technologists pairing up to explore this intersection, new ideas are coming to market that may have long-term impacts on the art industry. or may not. Either way, we look forward to a lively discussion!

Topics include:

What does decentralization & transparency mean in the art world?
How do or will different industry players interact with blockchain: artists, curators, collectors, & auction houses?
How will mediums be impacted? What is happening in digital art?
Who is leading the way at this intersection?
What is it about blockchain that inspires us to imagine completely new ways of interacting & connecting & what does that mean for creating, consuming, distributing & preserving art?

Kelani Nichole, Current Museum
John Watkinson, CryptoPunks
Abbey Titcomb, Onward Labs
