We started H2NYC & MedStartr.com to bring new ideas to healthcare faster & we are proud to have been among the first to introduce companies like Misfit, Phreesia, Abilto, IHT Spirit, 1DocWay, Avado, Startup Health, & over 500 other new healthcare innovations to the world.
In our first three years, we have had amazing speakers & startups present. The future of medicine is frequently in attendance with panels on AI, Blockchain, AR/VR & more.
In 2018 we will have:
Over 20 of the best healthcare startups from around the world presenting to win over 2 million dollars in acceleration services & funding. All year long MedStartr & our partners are running events around the world to find the best companies to invest in. At MedMo we bring them back to NYC to see who is ready to go to the next level & receive MedStartr Venture Fund investment & acceleration.
At least 9 Momentum Talks from thought leaders that will Educate, Inspire, & Envision the future of medicine. 4 Stakeholder Panels on topics critical to new ideas getting the momentum they need to succeed. We focus on Patient, Provider, Partner, & investor stakeholders as panelists & will dive deep into emerging trends & technologies that will be accelerating in the coming year.
Mainstream 2019 & other Special Additions: A new feature in 2017 was our "Mainstream 2018" panel that was designed to go deep on an emerging technology trend you haven't heard much about yet, but certainly will soon. In 2017 that tech was BlockChain with almost two hours of programming dedicated to the topic. (See the video on MedStartr.tv.) We can't say what Mainstream 2019 will be yet, but it will be the latest greatest thing you haven't learned enough about yet in most cases. We also add at least one new feature per year & 2018 will not be different - maybe a Saturday extension as we expand on the Healthcare Innovation Festival that spans 2 weeks in NYC? Stay tuned!
This will be our fourth year running MedMo & we expect it to be bigger & better than ever with over 70 speakers & 20 startups, two after parties, 300 - 400 attendees & over 18 hours of programming.
All our events & crowd challenges are designed to help early-stage companies gather the momentum needed to get to the next level as they pitch to the investors, partners, early adopters, hospital leaders, & patient leaders that are ready to work with the next big idea. Please join us for MedStartr Momentum 2018 & help us bring the best new companies forward faster than ever.

FAQs
Are there ID requirements to enter the event?
Yes, a valid photo ID is required in most large buildings in NYC since 9/11.
Is there & an age limit to enter the event?
No, but students get in at a great discount! Our youngest attendee to date was Eddie Camp (son of Mary Camp) at 16 & he got out of school for the day & learned a great deal!
What is the Patient Activist ticket, aren't we all patients?
Patient Activists are special people who become activated when they get sick or have a loved one that gets sick to try to change part of the healthcare system. People like Regina Holliday or Francie Grace who dedicate their lives, & careers in many cases, to such a cause, are special people & we put them on panels, give them free tickets, & make them mentors to companies that are trying to change medicine in their areas of interest. Anyone can become an activist, but it is not an easy road, so we honor them in these small ways so we can hear their voices & listen. If this is you, please email usfor a free ticket code & thank you for your activism!
