Work is changing. We work in spaces designed to foster innovation. Our cultures are carefully architected to inspire creativity. Teams work across distances & time zones. The systems & tools we use to design are changing at a rapid pace, all to help us work better together. In this episode of Designers + Geeks we will explore the future of work & the art of collaboration.
We'll be adding more speakers to the lineup soon!

About the speakers:
EMILY WANG|Head of Product at Spoke
Emily Wang is the Head of Product at Spoke, a startup building modern workplace software for knowledge sharing & request management across teams. Prior to joining Spoke, Emily led the new user experience team at Intercom, purchase & fulfillment products at Teespring, & founded a wine recommendation startup called Vinobly. Prior to getting her MBA from Harvard Business School, Emily consulted with Fortune 500 companies on go-to-market & product strategies with The Boston Consulting Group.

NIKOLAS KLEIN|Product Designer at Figma
Nikolas Klein is a Product Designer who recently moved to San Francisco to join Figma. Before arriving on this foggy city he was building plugins for Sketch, which got him excited about design tools. Now he is fascinated by the ways open collaboration can support the design process in novel ways.

EMILY TRIPLETT LENTZ|Content Strategy at Help Scout
Emily Triplett Lentz is the editor & content strategy lead at Help Scout, a fully-remote company making tools that inspire more human customer service. Previously she was on the team at Basecamp, creators of the popular collaboration tool & authors of Rework & Remote. She's passionate about the intersection of remote work & healthy company cultures.

FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, this event is 21+, & attendees will need to present a valid ID to join us. It's the beer!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to & from the event?
Yelp's beautiful office is near the corner of New Montgomery & Mission St, right in the heart of San Francisco. It's easy to get to from BART, many buses, or your ride sharing app of choice. If you need to drive, paid parking is available nearby.

Can I arrive after 8pm?
No!! For building security staffing reasons, we can not let you in after 8pm. We're not joking - if it's 8:00.0001pm, you will be turned away. This really sucks, & we don't want it to happen - please arrive before 8pm.
