EVENT DETAILS
As we gear up for the 2020 election cycle, questions & fears surrounding social media have emerged. Politico reporter Nancy Scola recently stated "It's going to be a complete mess this election cycle," & Scott Shane of The New York Times posed that "It just seems like technology is outrunning old institutions like elections." In the wake of fake news, bots, & more, how will our upcoming presidential election be affected?

On January 21st, Betaworks Studios invites you to join Paul Rieckhoff, host of the Angry Americans podcast in conversation with Yael Eisenstat, a former CIA Officer tackling the intersection of ethics, tech & society.

Paul & Yael will discuss social media through the lens of the upcoming 2020 election, focusing on Facebook, Twitter, Google as well as current happenings in the world of technology & political advertising content. The conversation will be recorded for the Angry Americans podcast.
