Learn industry standards to make the post-production process easier & more dynamic for your post-team on your microbudget film
You don't have to be an expert in post-production to set yourself up for success while filming. But you can learn industry standards to make the post-production process easier & more dynamic, giving you & whoever you're working with more room to create something impressive.
The instructor for this course is Andre Basso, who has worked in the Film & Television industry for over a decade as a VFX artist, Flame artist, Post Supervisor & Colorist. What are some simple tricks for color grading that give a great look while keeping the total workload to a minimum? And how about the blockbuster look? Discover how to pull it off on your shoestring budget.
Day 2 / Visual Effects
On day 2, dive into visual effects, again going step-by-step from pre-, production, & post-. What are some simple digital screen replacements? How do you use simple superimposed graphics? What do you do if you need a beautiful shot of the sky & the weather that day isn't cooperating? Finally, learn about getting great stabilization results without using a stabilized camera rig.
Day 3 / Advanced Concepts
Dive even deeper into some more advanced concepts on day 3. The instructor will make color science simple. For example, you'll learn the difference between scene referred color vs. display referred color, & learn why they matter for color grading & visual effects.
