EVENT DETAILS
Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) is a month-long celebration of Asians & Pacific Islanders in the United States.

May marks a few milestones, including the first Japanese immigrants to the United States on May 7, 1843, & also commemorates the completion of the first transcontinental railroad on May 10, 1869, the majority of which was built by Chinese immigrants.

This year, APAHM is significant as cultural tension in the United States has increased during the pandemic. The API community is faced with a rising wave of violent anti-Asian hate crimes, & there is a growing movement to demand justice & promote racial equality in the US.

The Facebook Partner Center is proud to partner with Gold House to showcase the API community's rich diversity - to tell their stories, celebrate their origins & invest in their futures.

Join us as we host three marquee events, elevating & spotlighting the contributions of the API community in the media & entertainment industry, the business landscape, & arts & culture.
