Beyond the banal corporate registrations & financial statements, there are many bizarre insights to be gleaned from public data. From an inventory of dead animals found in NYC parks, to an email from a My Little Pony collector immortalized in the text of a government contract, countless curiosities abound that provide data aficionados with intrigue & inspiration. In this talk, youll learn about a few of these curiosities & their origins, & techniques to uncover your own treasures.
