About This Event

Strengths-based development emerged from the question, What will happen when we think about what is right with people rather than fixating on what is wrong with them? In doing this, we shift the paradigm of excellence by focusing on each individuals unique strengths to develop excellence in a few areas, rather than encouraging well-rounded, average performance in many areas & it works. Research from Gallup shows people who use their strengths every day are 6x more likely to be engaged at work & more than 3x as likely to say they have an excellent quality of life, & teams focusing on strengths are 12.5% more productive. Who wouldnt want that?

For this highly interactive strengths-based development workshop, attendees are encouraged to complete the Top 5 CliftonStrengths assessment ($19.99 cost) before the event, which reveals natural patterns of thinking, feeling, & behaving that inform your life & leadership. This assessment is based on 50+ years of research on human performance & behavior by Gallup, & has been taken by over 17 million people worldwide. You can find more information about the assessment here.

As a participant, you will walk away from this workshop with a deeper understanding of your own strengths, language to articulate what you need to thrive, & strategies to put your strengths into action.

There will be time for Q&A & networking.

Sponsored by BigTalker, a professional development resource that helps teams build teamwork & communications skills.
