3. Ganes Kesari
Title: Conversational AI: Data Story-telling for a Speech-driven World

Ganes is the Co-founder & Head of Analytics & Design Innovation at Gramener, a Data science company.

Abstract: Data visualization through screen-based interfaces have matured, but their dominance as the primary interface for insights is now being challenged by conversational AI. This talk will provide an overview of this fast-developing trend & lay out the building blocks of designing a conversation-driven, story-telling interface. This concept will be demonstrated with application to a business example using Amazon's Echo.

4. Philipp Kats
Title: Vega: Declarative Approach to Visual Storytelling

Philipp is a data scientist at StreetEasy.

Abstract: Vega is a family of visualization tools anchored around the notion of visualization grammar the idea of separating the mere logic (grammar) of a chart from its content & appearance. At StreetEasy, we rely on Vega to help visualize our research projects on our blog.
