Introduction
Maryam is a research scientist at TapRecruit, a platform that uses AI & automation tools to bring efficiency & fairness to the recruiting process. Her graduate studies were focussed on characterizing molecular regulators of organ size control. Maryam's long-term research goal is to reduce bias in decision-making by using a combination of computational linguistics, machine learning & behavioral economics methods. She will be speaking at Strata NYC on hiring & bias.
Chia-Ta works for startup in real estate sector at Astoria doing machine learning & data science projects. His role is mainly on improving the housing valuation models & sometimes on leads predictions. As a python coder, he uses pandas, scikit-learn & xgboost on daily basis. He will share his experience as a seasoned kaggler
