This is the 8th Kranky Geek Event for developers on the topic of real time communications for web & mobile applications. A full day series of fast paced tech talks & discussion held at Google's San Francisco conference location.
ArtificialIntelligence is a buzzing topic & this year we continue our focus on the intersection of real time comms with AI topics of Natural Language Processing (NLP), vision recognition & applying machine learning to common communication tasks.

The purpose of Kranky Geek is to educate, inspire & provide an event where you can meet others interested in this tech space.
Logistics
This event is being held at the beautiful event space on the 7th floor of Google's office at345 Spear Street,San Francisco. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. & the event will start promptly at 10:00 a.m.. Please allow sufficient time to register for a timely start.
This event will be recorded for later playback. Attendees will need to sign a video waiver (see link during sign-up).
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, & coffee/tea/water will be served. Vegetarian, gluten free, & vegan meals will be served. You are also welcome to bring your own food, if you'd like.
Tickets
Tickets are $10 plus Eventbrite fees ($15 day of event).100%of the from ticket proceeds will be donated toGirl Develop It. GDI is a nonprofit organization that exists to provide affordable & judgment-free opportunities for women interested in learning web & software development. We're pleased to support them for the 3rd year running.
Refunds allowed up to seven (7) days prior to event. We charge this fee to help reduce no-shows.Please contact the organizers if this is a financial hardship for you.
