Join us for this free open doors session to get an overview of our part-time product management course curriculum, meet the lead instructor & have the chance to ask any additional questions that you might have about what it takes to become a Product Manager.All our classes are compatible with a regular work schedule & our campus is conveniently located in Santa Clara. This is not your traditional lecture class. Expect a healthy mix of group work, one-on-ones with mentors, & a hands-on experience building your own digital product from end to end. The instructors are professionals with real-world experience working at renowned tech Companies like Google & LinkedIn, & other technology startups. Meet the Speaker: Chris Painter
Chris has spent the past 20 years developing, managing, & launching at scale unique hardware & software experiences in both Japan & the US. He started his career in Japan, joining the team that designed the ThinkPad laptops. He eventually found his way to Sony Japan doing product design on the VAIO laptops. It was at Sony where he was able to get his start in product management & his passion for bringing together hardware & software experiences. He brought that to his own startup which focused on building an online streaming media experience.
Though not hugely successful, this ultimately helped to create new experiences at Comcast that became the new Xfinity X1 UI, & ultimately the very successful Amazon FireTV & FireTV stick product experiences. He carried his personal passion for photo & video capture to GoPro where he led a team of product managers developing new ways to capture, manage & share your life's most memorable moments. Bitten once again by the startup bug, Chris now heads up product at a robotics startup focused on last mile delivery.
