Join us on December 3rd for a fireside chat with Beth Comstock to discuss her new book, Imagine It Forward: Courage, Creativity, & the Power of Change.

Imagine It Forward is an inspiring, fresh, candid, & deeply personal book about how to grapple with the challenges to change we face every day. It is a different kind of narrative, a big picture book that combines Comstock's personal story in leading change with vital lessons on overcoming the inevitable roadblocks. One of the most successful women in business, Comstock shares her own transformation story from introverted publicist to GE's first woman Vice Chair, & her hard-won lessons in shifting GE, a 125 year old American institution, toward a new digital future & a more innovative culture.

Beth Comstock is a change maker. Her mission is to understand what's next, navigate change & help people & organizations do the same. By cultivating a habit of seeking out new ideas, people & places, she built a career path from storyteller to chief marketer to GE Vice Chair.

In nearly three decades at GE, she led efforts to accelerate new growth & innovation, initiated GE's digital & clean-energy transformation, seeded new businesses & enhanced GE's brand value & inventive culture. As President of Integrated Media at NBC Universal, Beth oversaw TV ad revenue & new digital efforts, including the early development of hulu.com.

Beth is a director at Nike, trustee of The National Geographic Society & former board president of the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian National Design Museum. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in biology.
