To reach New York City's ambitious goal of cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2050, the de Blasio administration has embarked on a series of steps to increase energy efficiency in the City's large & mid-sized buildings, including the Greener, Greater Buildings Plan & a widely-anticipated package of legislative proposals to require large building owners to invest in energy efficiency & to provide new, low-cost financing tools to incentivize these investments.
