During the year, 1stPitch Life Science offered several events at which presenters & audience members either got direct & immediate feedback from an investor panel on their pitches or got to see before & after versions of pitches after the presenters were coached by investors. At the end of each of those events, the audience voted on a Best in Show winner. The Best of the Best event brings together the Best in Show winners from 2018 1stPitch competitions in New York & Pennsylvania. At the end of the event, the audience will vote on a Best of the Best winner.This is the pinnacle of the 1stPitch season, so we hope you can attend!
Depending on presenter participation, there may be a poster session preceding 1stPitch presentations.This session will feature exciting NYC-based life science start-ups & will provide an excellent networking opportunity for start-ups, investors & all attendees. Please let us know if you are interested in displaying a poster during registration & networking, by emailinginfo@1stpitchlifescience.com
The 1st Pitch event will be preceded by a Meet with Investors roundtable discussion, between 5:00 - 5:30pm for academics & entrepreneurs. The investors at the roundtable will discuss the investment process, things to do & to avoid, & things investors look for in an investment opportunity. Please select the "yes" for roundtable option during checkout should you like to attend.
1st Pitch Life Science is organized by MABA (Mid Atlantic Bio Angels), (http://www.bioangels.net), a NY-based life science investor group, to encourage & educate aspiring life science entrepreneurs who want the opportunity to practice their pitch & to receive constructive criticism from experienced & knowledgeable professionals.
