Michael Galvin will host day 2 of the conference. Mike is the Executive Director of Data Science Corporate Training at Metis where he oversees the data science training & product development for all of Metiss corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies across industries. He went to Metis from General Electric where he worked to establish their data science strategy & capabilities for field services & to build solutions supporting global operations, risk, engineering, sales, & marketing. Prior to GE, Michael spent several years as a data scientist working on problems in credit modeling at Kabbage. Michael holds a Bachelors degree in Mathematics & a Masters degree in Computational Science & Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Additionally, Michael spent 12 years in the United States Marine Corps where he held various leadership roles within aviation, logistics, & training units.
