Topics covered will include case studies, the process of pledging artwork as collateral, & what collectors, their advisors, & portfolio managers can expect when inquiring about financing against a work of art.

Speakers Profile:Gabrielle Segal
As Business Development Manager for Fine Art at Borro Private Finance, Gabrielle Segal cultivates strategic relationships with art market partners. Originally launched in London in 2009 & operational in the US since 2012, Borro Private Finance Borro Private Finance provides discreet loans secured exclusively against fine art & luxury assets, facilitated by in-house valuation expertise, giving individuals powerful, non-bank financing options for immediate access to capital.
Before joining Borro Private Finance, Gabrielle Segal worked in several New York galleries. A past member of the International Society of Appraisers, she is a USPAP compliant appraiser. She graduated in 2015 with distinction from Sotheby's Institute of Art, where she earned an M.A. in Contemporary Art & a Graduate Certification in Art Business. She also holds a B.A. in Art History from Hunter College, City University of New York, where she graduated with honors.
