It may be a short-lived new year's resolution for some of us, but here at Jet, health is a vital concern: the site must remain robust, flexible & usable at all times. Three presentations will discuss how that objective is achieved at Jet.
-- Yuanyuan Li, an engineer on Jet's web team, will show how front-end testing ensures stable & safe updates. She will describe Jet's testing cycle & will offer a glimpse at the various tools used in Development as well as in QA.
-- Prathamesh Bhope, a software engineer on the DevOps team, will discuss how Jet implements Nomad to manage microservices in a way that's scalable, flexible & easily maintainable. Along the way, he will showcase tools that were created at Jet using Nomad & Golang's environments.
-- Sterling Walker, a react developer on the front-end team, will make the case for accessibility & usability in on the web. Drawing from her experience in neuroscience & from Jet's usability efforts, she will share recommendations for making (and keeping) websites open to all.
