EVENT DETAILS |
This session will cover lessons learned & provide a point of view on conducting Product Management in an Enterprise company when managing a mixed portfolio of products which span both homegrown & vendor provided but internally enhanced. We will focus on the intricacies of such an environment & the mindset & methods it takes to maintain the rigor of a good Product Manager & support a highly functional, agile engineering team. Major Takeaways:- Conduct meaningful buy vs. build assessments: total cost of ownership, using 3rd parties to prove an internal build investment, influence their road maps- Think big & take on risk: bring internal engineers the challenge of building better than what's out there- Look w/in the business: Salesforce on Salesforce & other internal partnerships
