EVENT DETAILS |
Change is the most devastating force that assaults organizations of all shapes & sizes. Considering how universal change is, it's shocking how universally terrible organizations are at dealing with change. According to McKinsey, senior executives report that their change initiatives are actually successful less than 25% of the time. Their people are even less optimistic, rating those same change initiative as 250% less successful than their leaders do. Which isless than 10%.
Why are we so bad at dealing with change? Why is there such a wide perception gap between leaders & their people about change? What can we do to make change more successful in our organizations?
Execs can only do so much when it comes to driving change, & they're not the ones doing most of the communicating about change. The only way change can be successful is if frontline employees & managers step up & lead through change, & change presents them with innumerable opportunities to do just that--while transforming their roles & elevating their careers. We're going to tell stories & talk about different kinds of change & how frontline employees & managers can lead through change.
(We'll also enjoy some cocktails & snacks.)
