EVENT DETAILS
We all know that the clearest & most compelling ideas yield the best design, but all too often, strategy is used as a loss leader on design assignments. Clients focused on design implementation-a new identity, website, or campaignmay say they value strategy, but yet theydon't want to invest in the upfront thinking.Without it though, we risk hearing "I'll know it when I see it" as the criteria for a successful design solution. Join us for a panel discussion on the value of strategic thinking, & how it can help drive great design & streamline the creative review process.

Who Should Attend
If you lead design projects, write proposals,or manage client engagement, this panel discussion will provide insight & perspective on how to create more value for your firm's strategic workand more impact for your design projects.
About D.Talks
D.Talks is an ongoing series of panel discussions presenting practical information about current trends & hot topics in the world of design & business. Our goal is to foster robust dialog & critical thinking, so crowd participation is an integral part of each event.

Why Does AIGA SF Charge a Fee to Attend?
We're a 501 (c)(3) non-profit & while we would LOVE to produce free programming, San Francisco is an expensive city! All ticket fees directly support the work we do & future programming.
We want all AIGA SF & D.Talks programming to be accessible to those who wish to attend. To inquire about free or reduced tickets, please take a moment to fill out ourscholarship form.
REFUND POLICY
We do not offer refunds. All ticket sales go directly to supporting AIGA SF programming & events.
