Feature Talk:
Node.js & JavaScript Idiosyncrasies & Security Implications
In this session we will focus on understanding security coding issues in Node.js applications that are specific to the JavaScript language constructs & Node.js architecture. We will start by reviewing internal building blocks of a Node.js server. We will then dive into strengths & security weakness of its architecture choices & how related constraints can manifest into the security vulnerabilities. Along the way, to solidly the understanding, we will review related npm package vulnerabilities as examples.

Presented by Chetan Karande.
