Directed by Leigh Whannell, "Upgrade" follows Grey Trace (Logan Marshall-Green), a man who has become paralyzed & lost his wife after a brutal mugging. While still recovering from the shock of the attack, Grey is approached by a billionaire inventor with an experimental cure that will "upgrade" his body. The cure - an Artificial Intelligence implant called STEM - gives Grey physical abilities beyond anything experienced & the ability to relentlessly claim vengeance against those who murdered his wife & left him for dead.
