Names. Everyone has at least onebut when it comes to products, features, & functions, choosing a name often spikes subjectivity & emotion.
In this session, we'll learn how to design an effective naming process, defining everything from who should really be involved to how you'll determine success.
We'll walk through real-world examples from Lyft, InVision, & Cond Nast, leaving you with the information needed to choose ownable, widely adopted names.
About Sophie Tahran: Sophie currently leads up UX writing at Cond Nast. Shes primarily focused on The New Yorker, but has yet to win the cartoon caption contest. Past lives include establishing a UX writing practice at InVision & wearing many hats at Lyft.
