As gaming shifted to the mass market, he was a key contributor for driving IGN's value from $26MM to a $650MM acquisition by News Corp. At Vudu, he moved digital distribution to high definition formats (HD) when the industry was still in its infancy, driving a 60%+ revenue margin. At Six Apart, he helped to lead the development of the influencer marketing industry during the early days of blogs. And, at Tapjoy, he pioneered mobile advertising strategies for consumer brands.
Kevin April - CEO of Sportscastr -Kevin April is a sports-media executive & the CEO of SportsCastr, a live-streaming company that allows anyone to instantly become a live color commentator to any viewer in the world. Available online & on the App Store, SportsCastr enables viewers to select which sportscaster they wish to have call, recap or make predictions on a game. SportsCastr's FanChain is a token & crypto-economy built specifically for the sports market, giving users the ability to tip sportscasters, access premium content, & unlock perks & rewards. John Kosner - President of Kosner Media -Kosner Media, a digital media & sports consultancy.An internet pioneer & a four-decade veteran of sports media, Mr. Kosner led ESPN digital media from 2003-2017, after stints at Sports Illustrated, the NBA, CBS Sports & NBC Sports.He led ESPN's coverage of gaming (beginning with wide use of EA Madden Power Rankings), launched ESPN's eSports section & oversaw the live streaming & linear broadcasts of multiple eSports competitions.He was graduated with distinction from Stanford University in 1982 with a BA degree in American History.
