Play NYC 2021 will take place from August 7th to August 8th, 2021 at the Metropolitan Pavilion. This summer, we're planning a scaled convention that unites game creators & fans all weekend long along with our annual live stream.
We've been working with venue organizers at The Metropolitan Pavilion to ensure that all local & federal guidelines are being followed to organize a fun & safe event. This will include proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test result prior to entry for all attendees as well as regular sanitization & any additional recommended guidelines that are still in place at the time of the event (i.e. mask wearing, social distancing).
Hosted by Playcrafting, Play NYC is New York's largest game convention for creators & players alike. Featuring the latest releases from studios large & small, & from developers old & new, Play NYC celebrates every facet of gaming in a way that only the Big Apple can.
Launched in 2017, Play NYC gathers more than 5,000 people for two packed days & nights of games, speakers, & networking events. In 2018, Play NYC returned for a historic second year, packing all 4 floors of the historic Hammerstein Ballroom with games of all shapes & sizes.
