We are back with our second ChangeMakers: NYC speaker series! Join us at the Microsoft Store NYC Flagship for a night of networking & new ideas, be inspired by the stories of successes & trials from fellow NYC entrepreneurs & from Global Leaders Organization (GLO) Market Leaders.
We have a very exciting speaker panel line-up. The ChangeMakers: NYC event will feature discussions of ideas & insights from:
Kevin Harrington - Inventor of the Infomercial & Original Shark on Shark Tank & is a Market Leader for Global Leaders Organization (GLO). Kevin Harrington has been a successful entrepreneur over the last 40 years. He is an Original Shark on the ABC hit, Emmy winning TV show, Shark Tank. He is also the Inventor of the Infomercial, As Seen On TV Pioneer, Co- Founder of the Electronic Retailers Association (ERA) & Co- Founder of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO). Kevin has launched over 20 businesses that have grown to over $100 million in sales each.
Nina Vaca - Chairman & CEO, Pinnacle Group & is a Market Leader for Global Leaders Organization (GLO). Since founding Pinnacle Group in her mid-20s, Nina has strategically developed it into the dynamic powerhouse that it is today, delivering impeccable service to iconic global brands. In 2017, Nina was named a Woman of Distinction by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council & honored as a Trailblazing Woman in Labor & Business by the National Women's History Project. Last year, Nina graced the cover of Latino Leaders Magazine as one of 2017's 101 Most Influential Latinos in America, a list she has been included in for the past decade.
Mark Lieberman - Creator & CEO of Artists Den Entertainment, a music media company that produces the Emmy nominated hit TV series Live from the Artists Den. The Artists Den brings extraordinary artists together with exceptional settings, creating once in a lifetime moments with the biggest names in music- now in its 12th season with over 75 episodes. In 2018, The Artists Den launches an exciting new series called The Creators which brings together great minds for intimate discussions on the artist's journey, the creative process, & the important connection between art & society.
James Waldinger - CEO of Artivest, James Waldinger served on the investment team & ran an emerging markets portfolio at Peter Thiel's global macro hedge fund Clarium Capital. He has worked with a variety of internet startups in operational, advisory, & investment roles, including as an analyst on Thiel's initial Facebook investment. Prior to his business life, James grew up as an actor, interned at the White House, & worked as a NYC Urban Fellow on Rikers Island. He graduated from Yale, holds a JD & an MBA from Stanford, & is licensed to practice law in New York State. James holds FINRA series 3, 7, & 24 licenses.
