About our Guest Investor - David Goldberg is a General Partner at Corigin Ventures, a New York-based venture capital firm that focuses on seed-stage investments in the startups defining the future of daily living. David joined the firm in 2014, is a member of the Investment Committee, & is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Ventures team. He is responsible for the firm's investment in over 35 portfolio companies, & sits on the Board of Directors for Minibar, Meural, Perch Interactive, & Renoviso.
Passionate about technology, innovation, & the entrepreneurs leading the charge, David is a constant learner. While he considers himself a generalist, he is especially interested in innovation around commerce, the future of work, & real estate. He is a member of Class 22 of the Kauffman Fellowship, a global two-year master class in venture capital.
Prior to joining Corigin Ventures, David spent 4 years on the other side of the table,' as co-founder & CEO of FreshNeck, a consumer-facing, apparel subscription rental startup. In that role, he led product & marketing initiatives, as well as high-level strategy & fundraising. David led the company to a successful exit in 2014.
David began his career in law, as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, before moving over to finance, first at Merrill Lynch, then at Jefferies & Co.
David lives in New York City with his wife Ania, daughter Elliana, & akita Kylie.
