TOPIC: Products That Count CPO on Getting that PM Promotion

Product managers come to the role from many different backgrounds & the demands on PMs are always high. With those challenges, it can be difficult to find a way to stand out internally at your company & get that promotion. So, how can PMs level up? In this session, Products That Count CPO & Microsoft fmr Product Lead, James Gray, discusses ways in which product managers can join, shape, & drive the product conversation in a way that will help them get noticed by the product leaders & executives & get their career on a fast-track internally.

About the Speaker: James Gray is the Chief Product Officer at Products That Count as well as our Austin Chapter Head. He loves building tech products with a whole product approach to solve unique customer problems using data. Over the course of his career, he's been lucky to practice a broad set of disciplines. These include product management, data science, engineering, IT operations, & consulting. This has shaped his approach to building, operating, & selling software products. James is the founder of Graymatter Strategy. There he helps people monetize their career offerings, both as a full-time employee & those that also run a sideline business.

Please note this event is free thanks to the patronage of our generous partners: we are grateful for their support! Products That Count shares limited contact information with them.
