Join us for an interactive panel discussion on machine learning (ML)! WWCode is excited to partner with Attune to host thought leaders from IBM, Two Sigma, Stash, & Koneksa Health. Well talk rends, perspectives, & prospects of ML & AI. Come share your thoughts & network with our panelists & the WWCode community. Light food & drinks will be served.

**Chengrui Huang**
As a senior statistician at Koneksa Health, Chengrui Huang partners with clients to define & execute statistical analysis plans. In addition, she provides scientific leadership to the clinical sales & R&D teams. Chengrui most recently served as a statistician at Google. Before that she did her postdoc in Genetic Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University, & received her PhD in Statistics from Stony Brook University.

Fun fact: Outside of 9-5, Chengrui enjoys dancing, hiking, NPR, & learning Spanish.

**Michelle Morales**
Is a Senior Data Scientist with the Chief Analytics Office at IBM, which is part of IBMs corporate headquarters. The Chief Analytics Office focuses on transforming IBMs business using Artificial Intelligence, with the ultimate goal of making IBMs business more efficient. Prior to joining IBM, Michelle completed her PhD in Computational Linguistics. Her research involved building Natural Language Processing applications for mental health.

Fun fact: Michelle is 7 months pregnant, expecting a little girl in June.

**Christine Hurtubise**
Vice President & Head of Data Science at Stash. She has eight years of experience in FinTech & graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Mathematics.

**Peyman Faratin**
Dr. Faratin is a recovering academic. He is currently the Chief Scientist at Two Sigma Insurance Quantified, working on ML & NLP applications in the insurance industry. Prior to that he was the founder of RobustLinks, a National Science Foundation funded NLP & ML startup serving financial, media, life sciences & agricultural sectors. He has also been a research scientist at MIT (Computer Science & AI Lab & Sloan School of Management) working with David Clark (the chief Internet protocol architect between 81-89) on design, analysis & implementation of various AI & market mechanisms for multi-scaled provisioning, control & access problems to IP networks. He has published over fifty scientific articles in peer reviewed publications, holds multiple US & international patents, served as reviewer for the NSF & won multiple competitive NSF & DARPA grants. He is a board member of number of emerging startups, as well as member of the Association of Computing Machinery, the New York City CTO club, New York Academy of Sciences & a visiting academic at Courant Institute of Mathematics at NYU. Dr. Faratin is an active member of the NYC technology community. He graduated from University of London (EECS department) in 2000 completing his doctoral thesis on Distributed AI algorithms for online bargaining & auction mechanisms.
