About our Speakers
Mike Doyle, Supervisory Special Agent, Newark Division, Federal Bureau of Investigation
Since 1996, Mike has served as a Special Agent, Supervisory Special Agent & at times Acting Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Newark Division of the FBI. He has investigated a broad array of criminal, counterterrorism, & counterintelligence matters, spending the majority of his time in the White Collar Crime arena. He supervises all White Collar Crime investigators in the Trenton & Franklin Township Resident Agencies of the FBI Newark. As a supervisor, he has also supervised the Newark Corruption Squad, Health Care Fraud Squad, Forensic Accountants, & was the Program Coordinator for all Complex Financial Crime investigations. Of investigative note, he was the Case Agent of some of the Division's most important investigations. His investigations included the conviction of the former Mayor of the state's largest city, long-time Newark Mayor & New Jersey State Senator, Sharpe James, as well as the Mayor of Trenton, Tony F. Mack. He also led the investigation into one of the largest & longest running insider-trading conspiracies in U.S. history, & featured on the American Greed television show. Recently, Mike supervised the FBI's involvement in the Bridgegate investigation through trial, & the related matter leading to the conviction of David Samson, former Chairman of the Port Authority of NJ & NY. He has held several positions within the FBI, including hostage negotiation coordinator, weapons of mass destruction coordinator, defensive tactics instructor, & national co-chair of the FBI Director's (Robert Mueller's) Advisory Committee. He has been nominated for the FBI Director's Award on two occasions, & in 2008, was the recipient of the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation Investigator of the Year Award.
Mike holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, an MBA in finance, a graduate certificate in professional accounting, & is finishing up a master's degree in cybersecurity policy. Mike is also a certified fraud examiner.
Saul Howerton, Vice President Advisory Services, Radius
As the Vice President of Advisory Services at Radius, Saul manages the global Advisory team comprised of 60 people across 7 countries. The Advisory team for Radius supports client's international growth across 5 Lines of Service: Human Resources; Global Tax; US Tax; Global Mobility; Corporate Governance / Legal.
Mr. Howerton is an expert on International Risk Management, which includes cyber security as well as other data management protection regulations (GDPR in the EU). Saul brings awareness of the various risks that exist in the international landscape for business operations.
Saul has been with Radius 9+ years & he has over 15+ years of experience in advising on global operations. Prior to Radius he worked as a Senior P&L Analyst at Intel Corporation.
He has an MBA in Finance & International Business from Santa Clara University, & a Bachelors of Business Administration from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Christopher P. Roach, Managing Director & National IT Practice Leader, CBIZ
Mr. Roach is Managing Director & National IT Practice Leader for CBIZ Risk & Advisory Services. Chris has extensive experience in information technology (IT) risk management & business management with exceptional success in driving business value & using technology to mitigate business risks.
Prior to joining CBIZ Risk & Advisory Services, Mr. Roach was Founder & President/CEO of Think-IT Services where he developed & delivered IT Risk Management services including: IT Security Support, CIO Strategic Support & Data Center Planning, IT Audit & Compliance, Business Continuity Planning & Disaster Recovery, & IT Service Management Support. Mr. Roach has consulted for a variety of both public & privately-held companies & has significant experience helping companies achieve their objectives through successfully managing change, improving business productivity, mitigating business risk, & improving competitive practices.
With 14 years of experience as a former Partner at KPMG, Mr. Roach served as Lead IT Risk Partner for several National & International clients across multiple industries. Additional positions included experience as the Lead Product & Services Partner for Information Security, Applications Controls & Business Continuity Management for KPMG's Southwest Region & also the National Industry Director for Energy & Business Leader for the Southwest Regions Industrial Markets group.
As the Southwest (SW) Regional Representative for InfraGard National Members Alliance (IMA), Mr. Roach was responsible for fostering & facilitating communication & collaboration between the eleven (11) SW IMAs; the National IMA; & other regional alliances nationwide. InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) & the private sector. InfraGard is an association of businesses, academic institutions, state & local law enforcement agencies, & other participants dedicated to sharing information & intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.
As past President & Board Manager of the InfraGard Houston Members Alliance, Mr. Roach was responsible for overseeing & directing the operations of this non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. With 420+ Local Members and16,000+ National Members he represented the Houston Members Alliance at their annual National Congress in Washington, DC & also chaired the Annual InfraGard Houston Conference with full coordination of all conference activities.
Mr. Roach received hisB.S., Management Information Systems, from Southern New Hampshire University, His professional certifications include Certified Information Security Management (CISM) & Certified in Risk & Information Systems Controls (CRISC). His professional associations includeMember, Information Systems Audit & Control Association (ISACA);Member, Information Systems Security Association (ISSA);Member, Institute of Internal Auditors;Member, InfraGard Houston; andGraduate, FBI Houston Citizens' Academy (2004).
Paul Rohmeyer, Professor, Stevens Institute of Technology School of Business
Paul Rohmeyer has over 20 years of professional experience in IT Management, IT Audit, Information Security, & Vendor Management among other areas. Paul is a faculty member at Stevens Institute of Technology School of Business & Director of the Masters in Information Systems Program. He has presented & published on information security, decision-making & business continuation.
A consultant since 2000, he has delivered executive-level guidance in the areas of risk management, information assurance & network security to premier organizations in the financial services, pharmaceutical & energy industries.Prior to his consulting career, Paul was Director of IT for AXA Financial & Director of IT Architecture Planning for SAIC/Bellcore.
Paul holds an MBA in Finance from St. Joseph's University, M.S. & Ph.D. degrees in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology & a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University. Paul has achieved the CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT), PMP (Project Management Professional), & NSA-IAM (U.S. National Security Agency Information Assurance Methodology) credentials.
