Behind every successful company is a diverse team of elite individuals ready to execute an idea. A Hacker to build the software or hardware, (Technologist) A Maker to build the physical product (Creative) And a Hustler to pitch the idea and close deals. (Entrepreneur) In the 3rd phase of building a futurist community of hustlers, we are hosting a 8-ball pool tournament for entrepreneurs to network and pitch ideas and meet some of the industries most talented individuals. As part of a 10 year TinyHackerHouse advocacy campaign to connect the worlds greatest minds through grassroots community-designed experiences we are building a live / work space in Austin and my role as a community experience designer is to explore new approaches to solving challenging problems.. In this social experiment ice breaker, I'm inviting my network of the most elite Hustlers, Hackers and Makers to engage in a fun pool tournament during SXSW to pitch ideas and explore new ideas whilst playing a game of pool. Winners will receive a free electric cab ride for 5 people in downtown Austin while drinking, partying and karaoking to their favorite songs. As a 5 year SXSW veteran working both internally and externally, I will be happy to answer any questions you have about making the most of your SXSW experience.
