This session is part of GA's Tech Week, a weeklong festival of free workshops, panel discussions, & interactive events exploring emerging technology & how it intersects with other industries.
In 2020, over 32 million Americans used dating apps & this number is only increasing as we're still in a pandemic.
More than ever, technology has undeniably impacted every aspect of our lives & dating & building relationships are no exception. Years ago, no one could have imagined their next date being a single swipe away & yet now, it has become parts & parcels of modern dating. While aspects of dating have already gone digital, with COVID-19 painting a new reality, this process has been accelerated & now applies to all relationships.
Machine learning makes promising (and successful, most of the time) matches for us. Artificial Intelligence determines the best activities for a date. Family game nights take place from opposite sides of the world. The opportunities are endless as we continue to involve technology in ways we build relationships. Considering how far we've come, imagine where we could go from here?

In 2017, Jordan created idk tonight, a website & newsletter that provides NYC couples with curated date night plans to help couples answer the timeless question: What do you want to do tonight?. After winning NYU x New York Jets No Huddle Challenge & Entrepreneur Magazine's LIVE 5-minute pitch competition, Jordan launched Cobble, the first app that supports couples in life after the swipe.
