Outside Tenfore,Joyceteaches data science at UC Berkeley. She was previously the senior global director of emerging technologies & corporate venture in the CTO office at Thomson Reuters where she founded & led the global emerging tech partnership program & the emerging tech venture fund, responsible for emerging tech research, partnerships, & corporate venture. During her tenure, she established product partnerships & built new products in data analytics, IoT, & blockchain. She founded the emerging tech venture fund at Thomson Reuters & made 11 venture investments. Before Thomson Reuters,Joycewas one of the founding executives & the global CFO of IBM Cloud Platform managing $1B P&L. She also spent several years in IBM Corporate Development leading acquisitions & divestitures exceeding $6B in total transaction value.
