Join Dell & MATHCOUNTS for a live quiz-bowl style math competition, where 7th & 8th grade Mathletes are paired with members of Congress & technology industry leaders in a single elimination bracket tournament. A charitable contribution will be made to the STEAM charity of winning team's choice.
The MATHCOUNTS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides engaging math programs to U.S. middle school students of all ability levels in order to build confidence & improve attitudes towards math & problem solving. Middle school students exist at a critical juncture in which their love for mathematics must be nurtured, or their fear of mathematics must be overcome. MATHCOUNTS provides students with the kinds of experiences that foster growth & transcend fear to lay a foundation for future success.
Entrance to THE EXPERIENCE is first-come, first-serve & subject to capacity. RSVP does not guarantee entrance. SXSW badges may be required.
