About the Speakers

Kimberly Tableman is Chief Clinical Development Officer (CCDO) at Castor. She has more than 23 years of experience in clinical development & technology. Over the past decade, she has focused on applying digital health technologies to reimagine the patient journey. She was most recently CEO at Medicine X, & co-founder at Rabble Health, where she led the development & beta launch of a patient engagement platform to serve oncology patients. Prior to Medicine X, Kimberly held senior roles at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), including Head of Patient Engagement & Head of Digital Clinical Trials. She has also worked at Pfizer, & began her career in management consulting at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.

Wendy Mayo, APRN, ANP-BC is Associate Director, Clinical Scientist at Janssen Research & Development. She contributes to the development & execution of the oncology multiple myeloma clinical research program & strategies. She has more than 20 years of healthcare experience in a myriad of sectors including clinical, leadership, research, & medical affairs where her primary focus remained on ensuring patients receive equitable quality care.

Dr. Millicent Gorham has served as the Executive Director of the National Black Nurses Association for 27 years. She was a lobbyist for the American Optometric Association & the National Rural Health Association. She served on the Georgetown Howard Universities Center for Clinical & Translational Science Community Advisory Board. She serves on the Board of Directors off the Association of Black Cardiologists & Simmons University in Boston.

Louis Shackelford is an External Relations Project Manager in the HIV Vaccine Trials Network
(HVTN) Leadership & Operations Center at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in
Seattle, WA. As External Relations Project Manager, Louis' primary focus is implementing
stakeholder engagement strategies in HIV vaccine clinical trials domestically & globally. These
strategies create opportunities for consultation with key stakeholders & communities to
inform the design & implementation of HVTN studies. Consultations optimize the inclusion
and participation of populations & communities who bear the greatest burden of HIV.
