Eric Satler, Via -Eric is the VP of Strategic Partnerships at Via, a revolutionary technology changing the way people get around cities. Prior to joining Via, he was Senior Director of M&A at IAC,a leading media & Internet company & previously was also the Headof Business Development at Viggle, a mobile app building the first loyalty program for entertainment. Earlier in his career, Eric was in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Investment Banking group at UBS where he worked on M&A & capital raising for wireless, cable, film & digital media companies. He started his career as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman. Eric received an MBA from the University of Michigan & a B.S. in Engineering Psychology from Tufts University.
Hakim Thompson,STEM Lending -Hakim is currently the CEO of STEM Lending, an online mortgage tech startup based in New York & Philadelphia. Prior to co-founding this startup, he was the Director of Finance at Behalf, a venture backed small business fintech lender. Previously, Hakim spent 9 years at Goldman Sachs from Intern, Analyst, Associate, & Vice President in sales & trading, in Mortgages & F/X. Hakim holds a bachelor's degree in Politics from Princeton University (2006), & received his Masters in Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management (2010).
Moderator: Sameer Syed, Google -Sameer works for Jigsaw, a team within Google/Alphabet that builds technology to make the world a better & safer place.Prior to this, he worked in Strategic Partnerships where he developed, managed, & grew partnerships with Google's strategic digital media partners within News. Before joining Google, Sameer worked in business development roles at Tremor Video & at ad tech startup, Genesis Media. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan. Sameer is the organizer & founder of Wall Street to Silicon Alley. He graduated from the University of Michigan.
