With this program, the Paley Center & Knight Foundation will convene a community of change agents, doers, & leaders who are innovating in local TV news across broadcast & digital platforms-and across the country-with a view to informing their local communities, while also adhering to rigorous standards of journalistic excellence. The goal of this program is to ask: In an environment where public trust in local TV remains high, can local TV newsrooms-inclusive of broadcast, websites, apps, social channels, streaming-rise to the challenge of producing news & information for their communities, first & foremost?
