A talk by Laura Brunow Miner, founder of Pictory Mag
Memories are made through human experience. Think back to your favorite birthday or the day you crossed the graduation stage to accept your diploma. Those experiences were designed to be memorable. Today we attend conferences, concerts, even museums made for selfies. Each of these experiences are designed with people at the center. In this talk, we'll discuss what makes experiences memorable with some of the leading talent in this field. From big scale productions to intimate gatherings, we'll take a look at the recipe for getting experience design just right.
About Our Speaker
Laura Brunow Miner is a serial entrepreneur when it comes to the intersection of brand, photography, & experience design. She has founded & developed enriching experience such as Eat Retreat, a creative retreat for leaders in food, & Phoot Camp, a retreat for the photography community. She is also responsible for founding Pictory, an award-winning online photo magazine where she collected & shared hundreds of moving stories of human experience. On top of that, she is a talented & experienced brand designer who has helped growing startups like Pinterest develop their own brand systems. Laura's world if filled with bringing people together, sparking creativity, & making this community a more beautiful place. Join us for her behind the scenes talk on experience design.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, this event is 21+, & attendees will need to present a valid ID to join us. It's the beer!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to & from the event?
Yelp's beautiful office is near the corner of New Montgomery & Mission St, right in the heart of San Francisco. It's easy to get to from BART, many buses, or your ride sharing app of choice. If you need to drive, paid parking is available nearby.
Can I arrive after 8pm?
No!! For building security staffing reasons, we can not let you in after 8pm. We're not joking - if it's 8:00.0001pm, you will be turned away. This really sucks, & we don't want it to happen - please arrive before 8pm.
