Harvard in Tech invites you to our fourth event in our Crypto + Blockchain series on smart contracts. The panel will discuss the benefits of smart contracts, the technology behind them, smart contract security & dispute resolution.

Chi-Ru Jou: Blockchain & Securities Law Partner at Emergent LLP
Chi-Ru is an equity Partner at Emergent LLP (in NY, d/b/a Wimmer & Jou), an elite boutique staffed entirely by honors graduates of Columbia Law School & UC Berkeley Law School. She is a member of the five-attorney Blockchain & Digital Currency Group, which includes both corporate transactional attorneys & litigators. The corporate side of this group provides transactional services to the blockchain community. The group's active matters also include cryptocurrency-related litigation. Chi-Ru's practice mostly comprises risk management advice to blockchain start-ups, helping them navigate the current uncertain regulatory landscape.
Tim Swanson:Director of Research at Post Oak Labs
Tim Swanson Founder Post Oak Labs & is a thought-leader in the blockchain community & author of three books. Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tim has worked in East Asia for more than six years & was previously a fellow at Singapore University of Social Sciences & the Sim Kee Boon Institute at Singapore Management University. He was the first advisor at Hyperledger (prior to its acquisition by Digital Asset), an advisor at Clearmatics, a consultant with Elm Labs & was most recently the director of market research at R3.
Jason Rozovsky:Senior Counsel & Head of Legal Center of Excellence at R3
Jason Rozovsky is Senior Counsel & Head of the "Legal Center of Excellence" at R3. As Senior Counsel, Jason works on a variety of corporate matters, including the negotiation & drafting of various agreements entered into with financial institutions, regulators, & technology companies, & acts as secretary to the Governance Committee of the Board of Directors. As Head of the "Legal Center of Excellence," Jason collaborates with 10+ law firms on topics surrounding R3's blockchain technology, Corda.
