About the Panelists
Riana Singh
Founder, Boss Women Collective
Riana Singh is the Founder & CEO of Boss Women Collective, a community focused on empowering womxn in the early stages of their careers. She built this space out of a direct need of searching for a community she related to with others in the same boat of navigating the struggles that come from being ambitious & career focused. BWC uses the idea of peer mentorship to build safe & open environments to make personal & professional connections. Over the past 2 years BWC has hosted over 60 panels, workshops, book clubs & virtual experiences for its members! In her full-time role at AngelList Venture, Riana works on the Capital Growth team which focuses on increasing the number of successful startups in the world through Venture Capital. She is very excited to continue to use her voice & platform to empower the next generation of womxn.
Clarissa Negrete
Senior Product Manager, VSCO
Clarissa has product management experience across many different products & platforms ranging from internal tools, B2C, & B2B user facing products. She's launched features in mobile, desktop & web. She's worked at Facebook, Dropbox, Headspace & now leads the creation team at VSCO.
Ashley Williams
Product Manager, Facebook
Ashley is passionate about empowering underrepresented communities & is on a mission to ensure that is brought to life in all aspects of her career. She is currently a Product Manager at Facebook, where she is dedicated to building & improving experiences for users across the globe. Prior to making the transition into Product, she started her career as a Marketing Manager at Microsoft focused on global audience strategy. Ashley is also a proud alumna of USC's Marshall School of Business & Southern California native.
Christine Cho
Product Manager, LinkedIn
Christine is a product manager at LinkedIn. Currently, she is building a new B2B Sales product, leaning on her diverse experience in legal, marketing, growth, & product management. She co-leads LinkedIn's own Women In Product, & is a member of a cross-functional team working to make LinkedIn products & algorithms fair & equitable. She has also served as an advisor to Female Founder School, & as a mentor to underrepresented groups seeking roles in product.
Yasmin Kothari (she/her)
Product Lead, Asana
Yasmin Kothari is currently a Product Lead at Asana, where she oversees several pieces of the core product. Previously, she was VP of Product at Domio, a hospitality startup, overseeing the product management, product design, & engineering teams. Yasmin has held product, strategy, & business operations roles at Airbnb, PayPal & Acumen Fund. She began her career as a strategy analyst at McKinsey. Yasmin holds a BA from Dartmouth College & an MBA from Harvard.
Lauren Bertolini
Chief Product Officer, The Daily Beast
Lauren is the Chief Product Officer at The Daily Beast, where she oversees the product, design, engineering & data/research teams. Previously, she served as head of product for Gawker Media Group & its publishing platform, Kinja. Prior to working in product, Lauren worked in a variety of newsroom functions, from social media manager to working the weekend shift on the news desk at NBC.
