TOPIC:Slack Product Lead on Product Meets Improv
The tech industry tells you that you need to be smarter & work harder to do better. As product management becomes more demanding, it's important to develop your skills in creative ways. That said, how can you continue to get better as a PM & have fun at the same time? Slack Product Lead Ellie Powers talks about how performing improv comedy has helped her become a better product manager - sharing the secret to owning a crowd on stage & in your product career.

About the Speaker:Ellie Powers is a Director of Product at Slack - where she manages a team focused on optimizing the platform experience. Prior to joining Slack, she worked at Google for over 6 years - working on the Chrome browser & Google Play products. In addition, Ellie worked on product teams based in Europe for TalkTalk & VirtuOz. Following internships at Microsoft & Pfizer, she also worked at Microsoft for 4 years in program management.
