Hey hardwarians,
Time for another meetup, and we've got a great treat for you! Crowdfunding has become a great way to not only gain your first set of funds, but also to test customer demand and get a ton of useful feedback and beta users on your product. We have the fine folks at Indiegogo sponsoring this session, and we'll have a series of startups who have either raised money or are in the process of raising money on Indiegogo talk about their experience.
5:45 - 6:00pm: arrival, pizza and hob-nobbing
6:00 - 6:10pm: Welcome and sponsors say hi
6:10 - 6:35pm:Jerry Needel, the Head of Growth at Indiegogo will be talking about everything else you gain when you crowdfund your product other than the cash.
6:35pm - 6:50pm: Matt Sandy from Parashoot that raised over $150,000 in pre-orders for a beautiful designed wearable connected camera that can fit in the palm of your hand.
