----

Online content moderation has become a hot topic in the last few years & months. While online platforms serve as fora for exercising the freedom of expression, there have been recent developments in several countries with the potential to suppress political speech online. This panel will discuss online content moderation, with a specific focus on the online speech of public officials. Should we treat public officials' online speech differently from their offline speech, & how should content moderation work differently on different online platforms?
