EVENT DETAILS |
Older adults are our future selves. Life expectancy has increased over time & older adults have become significant technology & data consumers. Designing technological interfaces for older adults is challenging; there are specific issues that need to be addressed (e.g. technology adoption, enhancement of continuing technology use, etc.). Therefore, design can significantly affect the use of products by older adults. In this talk, Yasmin Felberbaum will talk about what makes older adults different, discuss design challenges & offer some examples from the research world as well as from the technology industry.
