Meet The Speakers!
Melissa Zhang | Co-Founder | RockFix
Melissa is an entrepreneur on carbon sequestration through mineralization to remove carbon permanently through mine waste. Her team received a Breakthrough Energy Explorer Grant for RockFix R&D. Melissa has represented the Aspen Institute as a national Future Climate Leader & On Deck as a Climate Tech Fellow. Melissa previously managed the Low-Carbon Transition Readiness Fund & systematic hedge funds at BlackRock. She has a dual BS from UC Berkeley & is completing her dual MBA-MPA at Stanford & Harvard.
Giridhar Srinivasan | Co-founder & CEO | Infraclear
Giridhar is leading the development of Infraclear, a SaaS/ fintech startup that is democratizing infrastructure data. They are building a first-of-a-kind data platform with details on how thousands of projects were structured. Using this, they are building products to make it radically easier to develop projects, manage risk, & make infrastructure a standardized asset class.
They have raised $4.5m in VC funding in seed funding & were named by the G20 as one of the top 10 infratech startups in the world. Giridhar spent 15+ years developing & financing infrastructure projects around the world, while working at IFC, Rothschild, & Lehman Brothers. He has a BA from Swarthmore College & an MBA from Wharton.
